This is a great looking presentation of the information you found. I can see you have a good understanding of how a star chart or compass works and have some interesting information about Kupe. Did you manage to find out what constellations are used on our side of the world to show north and south? This would have been valuable information to early navigators.
Kia ora Tahlya, My name is AJ and I am from Paihia School in Te Ngahere. I really liked your post about how maori navigated using the stars it was really interesting. Where did you get all that information? That reminds me of the work we have been doing in class about explores and how they navigated to New Zealand.
