Wellington Trip

 For about three days me and my class went to Wellington and had a wonderful time a class of 20 it was a wonderful time we deported on the 16 or November and we first meet at the collage and the we departed at about 11 and as soon as we landed we chilled outside and went to the national library and then went out to dinner and ended up going for a little walk to the wharf and stayed there for a good hour and a half the next day we woke up at about 7 oclock and got ready by 7:30 and had breakfast a few hours past and we were on our way to the parliament building and we learnt about alot about parlimint and went into a very cool place which was the debate chamber and and we meet in a few other rooms and then we ended up leaving and went outside by park and stayed there fir a few hours and ended up having lunch and then went back to the hostle for a few hours and then ment to the papa and went for a tour a then had a look around our selfves and then came back home and then went out for dinner and came back got snacks and then ended up going to sleep and the last day we woke up bright and ear;y and got ready to leave when we did we then went tempine bowling and went to the airport

Globally Minded Poster

 In class lately we have been focusing on Globally minded and we are now ended the term off with a good subject i have actully really enjoyed this subject the post out of the past one i feel like this is the subject i have learnt the most about i have really liked the subjects we have been learing about it this year and im happy i have learnt about all of this 

The General Election

 

This Post is about the general election thats been going on in new Zealand but has now ended last Saturday and our new prim minister is Jacinda Ardern she has been running the country for the past 3 years  and i think thats she will be a great one for the next 3 years ahead of us

on Friday last Week me and my classmates along with my teacher went to Whitemans roads and also Leonard Street in Kawakawa we wanted to contribute to helping the world be a better place and just help it in general so we went around those 2 streets and picked up 2 full bags of rubbish and helped that little community

About Me

Kia ora, my name’s Tahlya and I am a year 9 student at Bay Of Islands College. I am in Rata which is a mainstream class. I am half Maori, half Pakeha which means I am half cast I am an only child and this is my Blog. In my freetime I like to do arts and crafts and create new things.
I like my classes at Bay of Islands College because I like to learn tons of different things a day. I am good at arts and crafts because I like to create new things all the time and I really enjoy it. My challenges are to make sure that I come to school everyday and not miss another 3 weeks off. My goals are to try new sports and try not be so lazy when it comes to sports.
This year I am looking forward to sports because I want to try new things and I am looking forward to badminton in Physical Education.The person who inspires me the most is my mum and because of this new blog I can leave comments and put up posts for you all to see.
